AC Drive Chokes made by Transpower are used on the input a.c. side to prevent damage to rectifiers & other loads from sudden changes in current, harmonics & electrical noise. AC chokes act as a filter to protect motor windings from excessive heating due to presence of harmonics & other power line disturbances. Our products are available in both 1 phase & 3 phase form & are generally recommended for input side of Variable Frequency Drives ( VFD ) of motors.
